Travelling with a Kindle has proven to be quite beneficial. In the past, for a trip of this duration, I would have wanted at least 3 books along, and anticipate trading them for other books along the way.
The Kindle is incredibly lightweight, and given that I haven't had it out of it's little travel bag in what 4 weeks, I'd say it was the perfect choice for travel.
