Dress in your favorite white outfit to attend the gala event of the year and experience The Art of Fine Fun. The purpose of this elegant evening is to raise funds for AANY, A.C. (Amigos de los Artistas/Artesanos Nuevos de Yucatán), dedicated to promoting and marketing the work of craft artists in the Yucatan Peninsula. Members of the string section of The Yucatán Symphony Orchestra will be there to greet you. Side by side and performing intermittently, young people ages 10-17, The Maya Youth Percussion Orchestra, will perform on ancient Maya instruments. In the beautiful gardens of Villa Verde Mérida music by Luz y Sonido Apollo will set your feet dancing.
Escuela Internacional de Chefs and creations by Carlos Mane of Voila Catering will send your taste buds soaring with a selection of exquisite botanas. Several cash bars will serve you with wine, beer and soft drinks. For fun, place your bids in a Silent Auction offering an entertaining selection of services and art. For a memorable getaway, buy tickets for the GREAT ESCAPES RAFFLE and win a 2 night stay for two at one of five upscale hotels and haciendas.
Tickets are $250MN, which includes entrance, botanas and one drink of your choice. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at Hennessey’s, The Mérida English Library or from Committee members (see FAQ’s for further details). Street parking is limited but valet parking will be available for a fee. Guests are encouraged to use a taxi service.
