YAPA

A while back I joined a group of animal conscious individuals in a group called YAPA

(Yucatan Ayuda Para Animales)

What we do is support several animal care interests here in Merida.  We cater to English speakers and serve as a bridge between them and the Spanish speaking founders of these shelters/albergues, etc.

We have been providing support staff and volunteers for several of the events of these animal care facilities.
