restaurant review - Flipper's (formerly Tommy's), Merida

Tom and I were introduced to Flipper's,
it was Tommy's back then,
by our friends Lida and Diana, I think it was back in 2006.

back when it was Tommy's
just as good, maybe better because of a few new dishes - but now called Flipper's

Our 3 mainstays - Coconut shrimp,  shrimp brochetta, and ceviche.

whole fried fish - the choice for Barry, Ken, and Lee

the pasta with shrimp in chipotle cream sauce, too die for!

postre - coconut ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, cookies n cream,  y algo mas
the interior, clean, light and airy, and sometimes a bit chilly

el jefe!
los jefes, Juan and son Felipe - be sure to say hi and that you heard about them from Tom and Debi!

We Love this place, I mean really LOVE this place! We've introduced quite a few friends to it!  The food is excellent, the staff are all fabulous, fast and efficient.  The beer is always cold, and the bosses are always there with a smile and a friendly greeting.  I have hesitated to blog it, although I have mentioned it a few times; this place is always jammin, So if this generates too much interest we will have a hard time getting a table!
