Spanish language lessons starting in September

If you are in need of Spanish language lessons here is another really good option, and there are many here in Merida.  It just so happens that I have experience with Marina, and therefore am confident to offer my recommendation.   Mixed in with your Spanish language lessons are always facts about Mexico and the Civilization, Anthropology, Archaeology, and Cultural Norms!

  1. I had all sorts of great plans to ake Spanish lessons while I was in the highlands. All for naught. Maybe next year.

  2. I’ve signed up for the Beginners Class but after seeing the schedule you posted I’m wondering if I should have taken Beginners 2. I took lessons for two years when we first moved to Merida 8 years ago but 6 years without lessons has taken its toll in making me feel out of touch and stupid. When a Mexican asks me how long I’ve lived in Mexico, I’m embarrassed to say 8 years because my Spanish is so poor. But, I’m up for a change and look forward to a second chance. Thanks for posting. As always your posts always encourage us to get involved.

    1. start in Beginners, if it's not a good fit I'm confident she'll switch you up!

It is embarrassing for me when people ask how long I've been here, I feel like after 6 years I should be fairly fluent!

      NOT!
